Curvy Cutie from Glee Amber Riley and her partner in dance  Derek Hough are the season 17 winners of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”Hough, no newbie to the mirrored ball with this being his fifth win, was none the less visibly happy with the outcome.The finale looked and felt like a homecoming. The finalists — Amber and Derek, Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff, and Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke — were joined by the eliminated cast members. Each ousted couple performed one of their most popular routines during the two-hour finale.As the show began, Hough stated,“It might not be about the highest scorers … it might not be about the dances at all,” he said. and he was right.

After she was announced as the winner, Riley said she wanted to be an inspiration to people of all sizes.     I’m sure her size and race have nothing to do with her talent and yet society continues to point it out. No one likes labels and still people feel the need to use them.
