Have you had enough? Think most will agree that The Real World was the first reality show that captured the ‘candid’ lives, loves, and lies of roommates. Fast forward and we now see groups of women on their social climb to fame or their fall to foolishness.
What was once entertaining has become an embarrassment. BBWLA has lost viewers due to the women’s obsession with Jackie and the feeling of wasting 60 minutes watching others gossip over breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. But, Real Housewives of Atlanta has survived four seasons without tainted ratings. They’ve avoided harsh criticism in comparison to the BBW brand because (1) cast members are wives, (2) dining was in addition to family, friends, business, shopping, vacations, and partying, and (3) less physical fighting.
Sheree Whitfield is no longer on the show and it’s been said that Kim Zolciak will be phased out. But there are two new peaches: Detroit native, former Miss USA (1993), and actress Kenya Moore; and granddaughter of Civil Rights leader and philanthropist, Rev. Hosea Williams, Porsha Stewart. In the trailer, it seems like the newbies aren’t doing so well–with the vets or each other. The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Season 5 [ TRAILER ]
