The iHeartRadio Music Festival Experience

This weekend the celebrity epicenter of the world was the fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. The iheart radio music festival which had an amazing line up of artist from all different genre’s such as Jason Aldean, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Swedish House Mafia, Miranda Lambert, No Doubt, Mary j. Blige, Taylor Swift, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Usher and Green Day just to name a few. This star studded event was held at the very popular MGM Grand Garden Arena located dead center of the Las Vegas strip.

I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to attend this festival over the weekend. Here are some of the highlights.

Green Day frontman Billy Joe Armstrong’s rant !

Being there in the midst of his rampage was a little disarming, I was not sure if his going ballistic on stage was part of his normal act or if this was pure unbridled rage. Billy lost it when the teleprompter read “10 minutes” which was letting the band know how much time they had until the end of their set. As the time wound down Billy became enraged dropping f-bombs and telling the audience “Im not f–king Justin Bieber, I’ve been around since 1988 and these f—kers are going to tell me I have 1 minute left” then proceeded in true rock-n-roll fashion to smash his guitar on stage and into the speakers. Then news broke early yesterday that Billy Joe Armstrong, just 2 days after his very public meltdown would go seek professional help by entering his self into rehab, for substance abuse.
