Healthy and CURVY Fitness Sites

download Healthy and CURVY Fitness Sites There is nothing wrong with being a size 16. There are beautiful women of every size and shape. I know that there was an amazing backlash from the plus sized community after the so called ” fit mom” came out against women that are over a certain size but the fact is that she did raise a point,  what is your excuse for not moving your body? I do not want to insinuate that every woman should be at the gym working out until she fits into someones idea of what is ” beautiful” but I do want to espouse the merits of movement. I want to see that we are not sick just because we are thick. Diane Williams , the self proclaimed ” Curvy Goddess“, a full figured personal trainer says

” We can’t make that an excuse for you not to exercise. Exercise is important in your busy world, Curvy Goddess! You can’t deny that when you exercise frequently along with a healthy diet it’s a great way as a preventative measure from many medical conditions and diseases.”

And that is what I am hoping to speak to, not the need to be a size 0 or even a size 8 but a size healthy, a size happy. Moving our bodies is not about the way that men look at us , for most of us men have never been an issue, but the way that we feel in our own skin. If your jeans fit better is secondary to do you wake up feeling like there is something sitting on your chest?

Plus and Fit are not mutually exclusive, there are some excellent fit and full sized blogs, workouts, centers and trainers. I think we need to remember that when we are being body positive we need to do something positive for our bodies as well.

Ok, so I clicked the link to the article, expecting to find links to these healthy and curvy sites – where are they? (I do have adblock on my browser, but allowed everything on the page, and still didn’t see any – but perhaps it is time for a new eye exam.)

This is not content! I was looking for the sites they refer to, and instead get, “Fit Mom had a point- you people are clearly making excuses and NOT moving (obvs)?”
